Product Description

FTCS-Bxx03-20Dxx series are 155Mbps Bi-Directional SFP transceivers with LC optical interface, supporting 1310nm/1550nm wavelength pairs for up to 20km transmission over single-mode fiber. The modules feature DDMI function with internally calibrated mode, hot-pluggable design, and comply with SFP MSA (INF-8074i), SFF-8472, and ITU-T G.957 standards.

Typical Application Circuit

Digital Diagnostic Memory Map

The optical transceiver contains an EEPROM that provides access to identification information describing the transceiver’s capabilities, standard interfaces, manufacturer, and other information. The module provides diagnostic information about the present operating conditions by digitization of internal analog signals. Calibration and alarm/warning threshold data is written during device manufacture. Received power monitoring, transmitted power monitoring, bias current monitoring, supply voltage monitoring and temperature monitoring are all implemented.
