Since the MPO-12 also supports the MPO-8 fiber system, it is specially optimized for 40G QSFP28 PSM4 to 10G SFP+ LR, 100G QSFP28 PSM4 to 25G SFP28 LR optics direct connection, data centers, and telecommunications systems applications.
